artist-in-residence project & Support

Essentially the troublemaker artist-in-residence project is A HEAVILY SUBSIDIZED, 3-month long daylight studio & film lab share designed to help support analog photographers of all sorts — giving space, technical support, & Creative feedback to enable visual artists to explore & create new work.

ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE INCLUDES:

  • Open to a max of 2 photographers per quarter For $500 per month*

  • 24hr access

  • ACCESS TO Small Daylight Studio & WORKROOM

  • Fully-stocked Professional B&W Print darkroom

  • process & scan lab WITH standard c-41 and B&W Chemistry

  • FREE workshops or custom instruction AVAILABLE

*While the cost is currently $500 per month, all Donations that come in from Workshops, Open Lab Nights, etc will go to fund both the Artist-In-Residence project as well as the Gender Pay Gap, BIPOC & LGBTQ+ Visual Artists Support discount — with the ultimate goal of making the Artist-In-Residence spots cost-free, and increasing the discounts up to 50%.
